Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The short version
We collect your email address so we can send you what you bought. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we never see your card details.
What we collect
- Your email address— to deliver your books and, if you asked for it, the newsletter.
- Order records— what you bought, when, and the amount. Required for accounting and support.
- Download-access records— the order reference, file, access time, IP address, browser details, and whether immediate delivery was accepted. Used to deliver one-time links, prevent misuse, provide support, and respond to payment disputes.
- Basic analytics— aggregate page views and traffic sources. Not used to build a profile of you.
We do not collect information about your child. Please do not send us any.
What we never see
Card and payment details are handled entirely by PayPal. They never reach our servers.
Who processes data on our behalf
- PayPal— payment processing
- Resend— transactional and newsletter email
- Vercel— website hosting
- Neon— secure storage of download-access records
Each is bound to process data only as instructed by us. Some are located outside your country; transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards.
Legal basis
- Contract— delivering what you purchased.
- Consent— marketing email. Withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Legal obligation— keeping transaction records.
- Legitimate interests— preventing misuse, documenting digital delivery, and handling payment disputes.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Download-access records only for as long as reasonably needed for support, fraud prevention, and payment disputes. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, after which we retain only a suppression record so we do not email you again by accident.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email hello@cribside.shop and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.
Cookies
We use only what is necessary to make the site work, plus your light/dark preference, which is stored in your browser and never sent to us. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
